Hey there

Its Christmas again.

I'm sure that many of you face the holidays like I do. I don't get excited about the holidays these days. I guess if I had children.. other then the small furry ones , it would have been different.

I'm 44 and I have had the misfortune to have outlived the bulk of my contemporaries and most family... save for most of my original family...

It wasn't all that long ago that we lost my older sister who could have been saved by anyone who cared enough to learn CPR. I do know CPR and can do it.. though I am not currant by anyone's standards.

When I was a kid we used to have family for miles and miles come over on Christmas. Things of course start to change as older family members get old and some pass. It seemed the core of the family unit was my mother... my grandmother and my mothers sisters and after Gran passed it just didnt happen anymore.

Ah well... being a bit blue on the holidays isn't terminal and it will pass maybe in a week or so.

If your young enough to still have your grands and most of your aunts and uncles... hold on tight and don't let em go.

Robert

Robert, I hope you cheer up soon. I've lost quite a bit too. But there always seems to be something to be happy about. I try not to think of what life was, but what life can be. Hang in there buddy! You still have us. Happy Holidays Robert!
