okay, so the other day i was out of town and i decided to stop at a pet store ..it was called Pet Land. OH MY GOD... it was horrible.. if you stuck your hand in the ferret area, they would jump and claw at your arm, i think i got bit 3 tiems just sticking my hand in there once. but that's not the bad part, i was looking at the hampster cages and they were not clean at all, without food and water. there was this one dwarf hampster in the corner,, and i couldnt tell what was going on so i looked closer and it was ripping apart another dwarf ferrets neck and stomach.. and it was eating the organs and everything.. i was so totally grossed out.. i freaked out and left.. NEVER will i enter a "PET LAND" again. yuck yuck yuck..horrible

Report them!! That is animal cruelty.......Leaving a dead body in a cage, or without proper facilities, is horrible. Petstores are hellish chambers.

It is bad I know. The poor hamster was probably trying to "clean up" when he was eating the body, because since no one else would... Very sad I know. I have seen brutal things too...

First of all, you shouldnt be putting your hands in the cages. Ferrets bite hard by instinct, they have to be trained to do otherwise. The dwarf hamster was probablly exercising cannabalism, which could have happened for many reasons, one being they're not being fed, there could have been a scrap that broke out, etc. I think you should report.
