OHHH!!! YEA YEA, TRY OWNING A DWARF HAMSTER OR TWO! :)
Since dwarves like to have company, they can be kept in pairs or small groups of the same sex. It's a good idea to get 2 sisters OR 2 brothers to begin with.
You obviously know all of the basics of owning a hamster right? Like pine, and ceder bedding is bad for them, aspen and carefesh are highly reccomended, you need a water bottle, food bowl, etc...
Anyway, what kind of hamster cage do you own? Because it can probably be used for 2 dwarves. And all of the supplies (if cleaned thouroughly) from the syrians, can be used for your the new dwarves!!
Dwarves are smaller, and more energetic. There are 3 kinds of dwarves, Roborovski, Campbell, and Winter White. For owning them, the supplies are all the same. I personally like the Campbell dwarf! They are so adorable and funny to watch! I own one and I haven't ever regreted the purchace of buying her! She is so sweet!
This isn't her, but this is a picture of a campbell dwarf:

HOW COULD YOU SAY NO TO THAT FACE?!??
Anyway, dwarves make great little pets! Good luck and I hope that you choose dwarves as your next hamsters!

I suggest a dwarf also! Very cute and not much harder to take care of! You'll love 'em! I agree with petluver, how could you say no to that face!!?!?

We have a Campbell dwarf and we think he is just the cutest and craziest little thing ever. Some people say that they are biters and difficult to handle but we haven't had any trouble. If they are well handled, only when you are both comfortable with it they seem to be quite easy to tame. I know that they can differ in this aspect but our little guy was VERY much a biter when we first got him, they could hardly pick him up at the petstore and now we play with him all the time!

Thanks.
Haven't made up my mind yet, either a syrian or Dwarf obviously, but I'm gonna adopt one this time.

I like dwarves, I haven't owned a Syrian, but I have held and played with syrians and they are frickin' huge!!!
Get a dwarf, smaller, more can be put in one cage, I think cuter...

I like Chinese dwarves because they are very placid and easy to handle. My friend previously owned two and they were calm and very tolerant. Cuties too!

Yeah...I love Syrians though. Quite a personality. But I heard dwarves have a very active personality and are quite fun to watch.
