squeaking

earlier today i got my new hamster... he seems fine and healthy, but when he was climbing up the pipe he has in his cage, he started squeaking/ squealing... like a high-pitched pig... at first i thought he was stuck, but he keeps getting out, and when he's 'free' he still squeaks. is this normal?

hmmm maybe he has an injury, like a broken leg or arm. check him over it could be anything

no hes got no injuries, hes up and about climbing all around the cage, getting sued to his surroundings...

well hes stopped squeaking now, i start slowly feeding him food and he smells my hand to get used to it, he just bit my fingertip once, nothing big.

He is scared of you. You should leave him completly alone for the first day or so.
