I am rather a newbie and I read a post stating that people needed to stop bringing up old threads. Is this general etiquette of the forum? How old of a thread is to old to bring up?

A month, in my opinion, unless something very important needs to be added to it such as a correction regarding treatment for a condition. Just my opinion.

I would say 3 weeks at the most but only if its really important or has been an on going thread that people continuously post in.
