New Pet Supply Store

I am wanting to start up a small pet supply store and am looking for some information that would help me. I am going to start off with mainly pet supplies, and with a grooming shop in back. Any helpful websites, information, suggestions that anyone can give me?? Maybe, what thinngs need to be in place first ect. The grooming area is taken care of, it will be run by my Mom who has done it for over 25 years.... it is the store part that I am looking for help with.. thanks in advance for all your help. :)

I suggest you take a business course of some kind. It will help you A LOT. Also, just search around the net for info on how to open a business and on retail marketing. Go to a few pet supply wholesale sites and see what they have, and stuff like that. Good luck!

You will need to be educated in good food and supplements. Having a groomer in your store will have many people asking about the best products for nice coats, itchy skin etc.
