my cat sassy might be pregonate because she has gotton out lots or maybe she is just fat.

She is meaowing like crazy and rubbing her head on the ground. She is being not her self.

Take her to a vet..

You don't know what you are doing and you really should have her spayed.. there are far to many kittens and cats in shelters without your cat contributing to it.

my dad wanted to get her spayed... buy my mom feels its mean to do that to a cat. I agree with my dad and we were goign to do it behind my moms back but it was to late she found out so we are still trying

Get her spayed now.. Speying will prevent bringing more kittens into the world when already my shelter alone puts down 32,000 cats a year. It will also give her some protection from some cancers and stop nuisance behaviour during the time she is in season.

You're mom thinks spaying is "mean?" That is absolutely ridiculous. Do you know what's more mean? Letting your animal die of uterine cancer, pymetra, mastitis, cancer, I could go on. These are a few things that could happen if you do not spay her.

Animals lick themselves. Grow up. It doesn't mean she's "prego." Btw, the correct name is PREGNANT. It drives me up the wall when people come on here and use that term. We can't tell if your cat is pregnat by you telling us that she's fat.

Take her to the vet. Why was she running around outside anyway?

None of us can diagnose an animal without seing it and it would be stupid of us to do it as you have no idea what you are doing. You need to take the animal to someone who is qaulified.

Bringing more babies into the world will bring a death sentence for hundreds of cats already alive in shelters looking for homes. Do the right thing and get her desexed before it is to late and save some lives that are already here and struggling in the world..

ok i brought her to the vet. And she was not pregonate but she might have something wrong with her weight she is really fat. But anyway she is going to be spayed next week I already schellduled it.

Yay, all cats should be spayed, it's horrible that cats have to be put down because owners are irresponsible. I'm glad you're getting her spayed.

If your mom is still iffy about it just tell her that your cat might be a little wozzy from the surgery after but it's much better than going in heat every month and being bothered by that. If she isn't fixed she goes through hormonal changes and it could be very uncomfortable for her and of course there is always the occasional accident.
I hope that the surgery will go well and that she will have an easy recovery!
