I was wondering what is the best food to feed my 3 7 week old puppies..right now i have them on dry dog food soked in water so therefore its kinda like wet dog food...they love it too :cool: ..and my momma dog still feeds the too...is the normal??..she had 8 and we gave 5 away and now she feeds the 3 all the time..shouldnt they already be weaned of do i need to stop them from getting milk form her?

You should start weening them off of their mothers milk by now. When my dog's puppies were ready, I gave them the formulated puppy milk and mixed it with puppy food. You give them less and less of the FPM (Formulated Puppy Milk) until they start eating just the plain puppy food. Try to get the best puppy food for them...they need the best to grow into the best puppies they can be.

7 weeks old is actually too young to be gone from the mom. They should be still feeding from mom (this is normal) she will slowly wean them herself. You can help her along by buying wet puppy food, or with what you are doing by soaking the dry kibble in water. Weaning normally starts aroung 6 wks and doesn't stop till about 8 wks old. 12 wks is the best age to give the puppies away. That way they are really well socialized with puppies and humans. Not sure why you gave away the other ones so young. Anyways, make sure you feed them good quality puppy food
