You need to give us more information. How much blood is there? Is there a deep wound?

Do you have an emergency number for your vet? While an emergency call may be more expensive, if she's bleeding from her head, it is NOT good. The number will be in the phonebook, look for emergency services available... All I can suggest is applying pressure until it stops, but this may not be a good thing either...

It could be an absess that is rupturing, if its not bleeding insane amounts just keep it clean and take kitty to the vet in the morning. If its bleeding nonstop then get her to the Emergency Vet.

No, there is no deep wound, no it was not bleeding non-stop and yes I think it was an abcess because thats what the vet told me. He also told me to keep the blood/pus out of her eyes and keep it clean, we didn't take her to the vet yet because the bleeding stopped and she looks better, but she scratched it today and there was a little blood again. So we are going to take her to the vet tomorrow. Thanks for the help, I'll keep this updated.

Keeping a cat from cleaning it's head is almost impossible without an e-collar. You need to check the injury, don't poke or prod it too much, but make sure it's not too severe. If you are still frightened (and it sounds like you are) take her to an emergency vet tonight. It will cost you more to get in the door to see a doctor, but it will put you (and kitty) at ease.
Has her behavior changed? off balance? Lethargic? is she eating and drinking ok?
Vet, no matter what, and as soon as possible. Don't put it off. Good luck!

Okay she isn't acting strange at all and eating and drinking normally...I was really scared at first but now that I talked with the vet I am okay :star: The bump she had a few days ago was an absess, and it kinda "popped" and thats why there was blood and pus. But we cleaned it and she seems to be better..
