Well we just got our 4 month old female pig named Petunia, but she will not let us pick her up and it seems she wasn't properly trained. We are working with her with some potty issues. Is it normal for them to pee while drinking water? The other problem is she only drinks water with her food. We need to take her to the vet to get her spayed, but how can we do this if she won't let us pick her up? Also how are we supposed to trim her hooves if she won't let us touch them??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

2. The pig has already been examined by a veterinarian and a good veterinary-client-patient relationship has been established so subsequent physical examination is more tolerable.

3. Pig records are in the custody of the client's veterinarian plus the owner has kept their town record of what has been done previously.

4. The pig has been trained (leash training in harness, etc.) And handled often (brushed, groomed, held) so handling by others is less stressful. ",

you can find even more info on that website, but basically it would make it easier for you and the pig if you were bonded as veterinary visits are very stressful for pigs.
