when i get back to the city after midterm break (hopefully this sunday if the storm holds off) i'm going to become a dwarf mom for the first time. i brought it up gently with my mother and all she said was, "ah, filling the house with s?" and grinned. lol i don't live with her, but i still like to check since i'll be moving back permanently in april to complete my masters at home and my kiddos will have to come home with me. ratbrat21, i can thank you, i think, since she fell in love with nala's pics. :D so, i'm quite excited and i'm going to take sunday to pick up a bin, have to go get more aspen since my meecers are out, and i'll be picking up anything else i need (though i think i have tons of toys and stuff kicking around). weeeeeeeeeee for dwarves! :)

No advice as you're the best critter mom out there lol so just wanna say yaaaay.. :applause:

Yay for Dwan! lol. I haven't had dwarf hamsters in quite some time! I am sure you have tons of stuff lying around... and maybe make another trip to the dollar store :)

Update on my hammies (don't want to make a new thread): The two syrian brothers are STILL living together just fine. They are 16 months old, and have been living together forever. I check them all the time, no bite wounds, nothing. They sleep together, and seem to enjoy each others company. They each have their own wheel, there are two food bowls, and two water bottles. When i take them out of the cage, I make sure they are together at ALL times.

I am able to pick Tye up..he seems very old and fragile! He reminds me of an old human.. he walks slow, and sems to fall over sometimes.

Snow is very sweet, but very lazy.lol. She hardly ever goes on her wheel, and when she does, she walks for a couple seconds.
