So, I was thinking, there's probably a ton of people on here alone that want to have something to do with a pet store. What if we all got together to open a store that would focus on the education relating to animals as top priority. Yes, we would still sell animals, but we would educate the buyer before they left the store, maybe have them sign a contract. I know nothing can stop a person from just abusing or mistreating an animal and we wouldn't know about it... that's the problem. I don't know... what's everyone's thoughts?

probably because you would never get anyone to agree and work calmly ;)

I thought about our last ongoing debate with those two girls... so yeah, I agree. haha

I think in an ideal world ALL shops would be doing this anyway, and not just a handful of them!

I've been to only three pet stores out of a little less than a hundred in Michigan that require the buyer to have knowledge of the animal they wish to purchase before hand, or else to be open to getting educated before buying. They usually just sell whatever animals to whatever person as long as they have the money.

Exactly - i've experienced the same thing going around and researching them - hence as said, in an ideal world they would be doing it, but sadly it's not ideal in any way, shape or form!
