Anyone get insurance despite health issues?

My Dalmatian was recorded having a heart murmur about 2 years before I got her. The current vet says other than being overweight she's perfectly healthy.

I'd like to get insurance for her but have been told I can't because of the past report of the heart issue... anyone get insurance despite such an obstical?

Maybe I'd be better off tucking $10-20/month away for her in a special account.

My dog was a rescue with all sorts of issues... We're with Sainsburys... i dont know if that superrmarket exists out there tho.... if it helps ous is about £8 / months... the're good because they will cover him for life as well... most stop at 8 or 9 still

You can get insurance but most of them will not cover pre-exsisting conditions. Basically the insurance will help cover the cost of anything except what they can relate to his heart condition.
