I have been bugging my aunt for a long time to get a horse and she finally got one! :) She has had horses before and she was thinking about getting another one. Jake is a 7 year old registered minature horse. He is red and white (sorta like a paint). They got him from a old man out by where they live and he was getting rid of all his cows and he had the Jake and a goat left so he was just going to shoot Jake and the goat so my uncle bought Jake the goat for my aunt but it only had one useable leg, the goat had had one of his back legs amputated and his 2 front legs were crippled so my uncle kept him for as long as he could they he got so sick he had his vet put him down.
Jakes mane fell down to the ground so they had to cut it and they found dirt caked under his eyes so he has big sores there, his front hooves are really bad so they have a farrier coming out to trim them up and put new shoes on and they had his teeth done because he had never been floated and they were really sharp so when he ate his teeth were cutting his gums and his tounge. But he is doing good!
I am possibly going to use him as a 4-H horse or maybe even show him. I just thought I would let yall know seeing as I am so excited! :applause:
