its horrible, animals get blamed for everything, they probably dont even spread disease, people just think they can control something. And it always grossed me out how Chinese eat dogs and cats, these days people have gone mad, thats why I never eat in Chinese restaurants and avoid eathing meat altogether.

LoveChick, I realize that you just said you try to avoid meat, but the way we look at the Chinese eating cats and dogs, is the same way people from India look at us eating cows. I'm just trying to make a point not attack, I think it's is disturbing that people could eat a cat or a dog, but cultures are different from each other.

I see what both of you mean. I just hate the fact that I am unsure wether China has actually done any tests to see that animals could transmit SARS. I think until that is found out for sure they may be killing inocent animals. That really bothers me.

well thats exactly what I said, I consider it wrong to kill animals just so we could fill our stomachs for few hours. No matter what culture Indian or Chinese.

I feel the same way lovechick, im a vegetarian, and whenever im at my freinds houses, i kinda feel uncomfotable caus ethey almost always eat meat, and they always ask me why i dont want any, and so on.it kinda annoys me also taht people jsut dont care. they say taht cows and pigs and stuffs only purpose is for food. i got really mad, and punched someone in teh face(lol im not a pshycopath, i was having a REALLY bad day). I didnt get in trouble though, because i was being provoked.It made me really mad to think taht anyone would think animals dont have a sould of tehre own.
