Okay, I decided to make use of their 14 day guarantee on pets from Petsmart. I went and looked (took poor Julio's body with me). They had the same green/yellow ones, and the yellow yellow ones from when I was there on the first, but they had a whole section of blue parakeets. Soooo, I decided to go with a blue anyway. It's too young to guarantee it's male or female (right now, the cere is bright purple but it could still go either way?). I named it Cloud. It kind of looks the way the sky looks on cloudy days. Oh, and some awesome news: Jay and Romeo BOTH let me touch them :D YAY! Jay flew out of the cage last night, I think the flying lasted a good half hour. Then Jay landed on my pc desk and I picked him up and stroked his head before putting him back in his cage. Romeo started being friendly last night, really friendly. I put my arm in the cage to attach the perch again, and he hopped on my arm all the way down to the cage door and as I started pulling my arm out, he came with. Hopped up onto my shoulder and went to sleep. Think Jay and Romeo are going to share a cage. I did a trial on them last night. They snuggled up close to each other and went to sleep. After Cloud has been quarantined and all, I might put him/her in with Romeo and Jay. By the time the new cage comes, it'll be fine for the 3 of them (I hope). Cloud has their wings clipped as a safety precaution. Romeo and Jay have full feathers. I'll take pictures in a few days. Wish me luck with these 3. I don't want to lose any more birds (but it does look like a death-by-shock/stun for Julio).
