If you happen to be in the store next time check it out..I really think it's them.. Anyway I'll check the next time I'm at the pet store..

Another question,,Can I use those chew toys that are in all different shapes and sizes?.. They look dyed though and I wasn't sure if they would be ok to use.

Well, as long as there are biggish sized cube shaped things in the food that he eats, then it should keep his teeth weared down. Also, you can try milk bones (for dogs, but hamsters can eat them too)! Opie likes milk bones a lot! :)

You can use the chew toys that they sell in the store, but make sure that it is vegetable dye, not food coloring or artificial stuff like that. But either way, they don't eat the wood, so it wouldn't be going into Coco's digestive system.... But, I bought my old hamster Kiba colored fruity smelling chew sticks and she didn't touch them! Maybe Opie would chew on them, but Kiba hated them! So just prepare to take it back in case he doesn't like them! Good luck! :) :D
