I've read before that it's healthy for hamsters, but I'm not entirely certain about what types are.

I had a coupon for a free 2 pound canister of Purina ONE, Natural Blends Chicken & Oatmeal Formula.

Here's the breakdown:

Crude Protein- 26%
Crude Fat- 16%
Crude Fiber- 3%
Moisture- 12%
Linoleic Acid 1.4%
Calcium 1%
Phosphorus (P)- 0.8%
Selenium (Se)- .30 mg/kg
Vitamin A- 13,000 IU/kg
Vitamin E- 100 IU/kg
Flucosamine- 400 ppm

The one that gives me pause is Selenium. I know it's an active ingrediant in dandruff shampoo's, and those are bad for ham's, but I'm not sure about internally.

I also got a pack of small milk bones (generic) biscuits for the hams to chew at. My mom ham (Spaz) already loves it.

I feed a lot of dog food and treats to my lot and it is great. I havent used Purina 1 but have used Proplan which is pretty much the same (just the expensive version!)

Ok :)

I'll give them each a few pieces and see how they like it!

Domino has eaten through half of his first milk bone, and all the other ham's (even the babies!) seem to really like them. :)
