Constipated maybe? Not sure

One of my Cambell's dwarf Hamsters is having some sort of bowel problem. I'm not sure if he's constipated or possibly has some for of impacted bowel. His rectum appears much larger than normal. I was able to squeeze the area (Not hard obviously) and get some of the feces out but it seemed like it was never ending and I didn't want to hurt him. Any Idea on what's going on?:confused:

it could be related to a number of factors. either way, it can only be treated and diagnosed by a vet. please take your hamster to a vet immediately.

Yeah I have an appointment today. It was late last night when I asked. Also, it happened before and when I got him to the vet he was fine I was just wondering if there was a way to prevent this.
