I am planning to get a hedgehog towards the end of August, or September. I live in MD, for a hedgehog we'd be able to go to MD, north VA, or DC. I thought it would be a great idea to get one from a shelter or rescue program, but I haven't been able to find any. Now, I did find some people who rescue in those areas, but as far as I know, they don't currently have any hedgehogs, and I'm pessimistic, so I'm going to assume that when I want one, they probably still won't have any. If you know of any shelters or rescues in those areas that have hedgehogs, please let me know.
