well the litter of baby Syrians will be ready this coming weekend. they are 4 weeks old today so i figure this coming weekend or next week im ready to find good homes for them. fl95 i believe you were interested so please let me know if you still are asap. they are so cute i wish i could keep them all but 16 diff cages would b a bit too much i think lol. i do believe im going to keep one of the black banded ones though b/c they are my fav

What kind of hamster do you have CritterCrazy1? If a Syrian or even a dwarf, I really do NOT suggest that you buy him a mate as with Syrians, a lot of babies and they NEED separate cages. Dwarves, still, they can fight.

thanks guys! i love them so much i wish i could keep them all. its not really more expensive you just have to feed them more as they get older and of course more bedding is used. im a college student and i still kept them in my budget so its not too bad id say. right now i have the dad alone...the boys together then the mom and females together but in another week they'll all be gone ive found a few good homes already. wish u guys were closer and u all could have one....o and thanks mezcla i always brose the guinea pig forum...all your pics and positive talking makes me want to adopt one for next yr from a local shelter...talk to u guys soon

Hi, I'm sorry if I didn't understand corectly, but if I did, are you selling the babies?? How old are they? Aww.. I wish I could have one but I live in Vancouer and I don't think hams can be shipped like fish can :(

yeah i plan on selling them to good homes but i dont have a set price. its more of like just a donation kind of whatever people feel like giving for a healthy hamster. im not sure if they can be shipped either. i think the only way is through an airline which is pretty expensive. i wish you lived closer b/c id b happy to give you one. the babies are they are just 4 weeks old so they will b ready in like another week

You shouldn't ship live animals. Especially young hamsters, they will get SO stressed and will probably get wet tail/sick.
