darting cat

Sometimes my cat randomly darts around the house like shes running from something but nothings there.

It's not a normal behavior for her, any ideas why she does this?

How old is your cat?

My cat's radomly do what you describe, not all the time but now and then and the one likes to talk and make a scream/chirping sound while he does it. I think its just a cat thing that they do now and then. My aren't chasing each other when they do it, its usually just one at a time totaly out of the blue. Just some weird game they have going with themselves I guess.

my grandma told me that when cats go crazy like that.. just darting and running around like crazy... its because they can sense a storm coming......... idk, if it's true... but yeah... :p

My cat Penny does that all the time during the winter months when she has to stay indoors. I think its just some extra energy to burn.
