Hi,
I wonder if anyone can tell me where I can get a good pellet food for my Hamster here in the UK?
We have three Hams and one of them doesn't eat all her food and isn't getting a proper balanced diet, unlike the boys who seem to make everything disappear!

Try Critter Cubes made by SunSeed.

So far i dont think there is ok.

Burgess do a good pellet free mix which the hamsters eat more of.

Personally I just feed every other day so that they have to eat all their food and I get very little waste.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. We tend to feed ours every 2-3 days, it's only in the last 6-7 weeks that she has become particularly fussy and consequently is now having poo problems! We took her to the vet who said that there's nothing wrong other than she's not eating everything and to try and get a good pellet mix. Any suggestions on perhaps making up our own for her?:-)

Personally I dont make my own food as it would work out too expensive for me, but i know people who do.

For me I use a good basic hamster mix (burgess) then add vitalin dog food - kitten food, bird seed and mealworms are all fed regularly too as part of their diet.

Thanks for your advice, we'll give it a go and see how she gets on, hopefully it'll sort her out sooner rather than later!
BTW congratulations with Podge:-)
