Hello, I was thinking of getting a sugar glider, bottle baby, flying squirrel, or something similar. Of course when I choose for sure I will do tons of research (When I got my rabbits I became a rabbit for those weeks before hand). But before I do all the research, what can anyone tell me about them? What quality of pets they are. How affectionate are they? Where do you bring them? Can you really take them around in a fanny pack? Is there anything difficult about them?

Hello,
Please refer to my post I just made at: http://petshub.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4122&perpage=1&pagenumber=13
It talks all about sugar gliders.
Yes, you can even carry them around in a fanny pack. I carry mine around in a crocheted purse when I do errands. Mine don't seem to crab too much anymore. I carried them around in the house a lot first before taking them out into public.

Flying squirrels are good too, and they're diet isn't quite as complicated as a glider's. I've looked into both and have decided on a flying squirrel ^_^
