My gerbils just had babies yesterday.This is their first litter.Last week when i cleaned out their cage, I decided to put the wire floor back in( So it would be easier to clean out..which it is) anyway..little did I know they were going to have babies..because when I got them for christmas..they were suppose to be both males!I am afraid that the wire bottom will be bad for the babies when they start moving?Do you think it will be okay for them?The last thing I want is for them to get hurt..and seeing as they were just born, i will not be able to take the bottom out for a while.I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me.:angel5:
