New Setup Question

I am getting a 29 gallon aquarium to house two gerbils from the same litter and same sex. Can the wood sold in the fish aquarium section be used in a gerbil tank?

As long as it doesn't contain Cedar or Pine. I suggest CareFRESH pet bedding.

What do you mean by 'wood' like shavings?

Driftwood should be fien yes. Soak it and dry it first as you would do for fish (well for fish you don't dry it :irked: )

just make sure that it doesent have any obvious holes that they can get there feet stuck in other wise it is a nice thing to add to the tank.
