I meant to look at craigslist in my area but accidentially looked at the SF page instead, and found this: Free Dwarf Hamsters - http://www.craigslist.org/sfc/zip/163696808.html
"One of my male dwarf hamsters got into the cage with all of the other females and got them all pregnant. Thus the horde of Dwarf Hamsters have arrived. I am giving them away for free because they are much more bothersome than I can afford and if I could I would pay someone to take them away... I know what people may want little rodents for so for food or for pets, please take them."
I didn't realize it was in SF until I started typing up an e-mail to this person, and I feel distressed thinking about them being snake food - can anyone take them...? I live about 6-7 hours south of San Francisco, unfortunately, but could maybe try to drive half-way to pick them all up if someone would be willing to drive the other half..?? (To be honest, I don't really NEED any baby hamsters, but I'll take them if nobody else can...)
