Very urgent appeal rodents need homes

I hope that if its my last post, its a good one, and im soo sorry rodentpalace, ill do this am make it up to you by starting on a clean slate

The original post:

This a very urgent appeal by Rodent Palace Rescue
we need to find homes for the following rodents.

Syrian Hamsters, all female, golden approx 5/6 months
old, white with grey patch face approx 5/6 months old
white with black ears approx 6/7 months old, all friendly just a bit nervous, they need time & handling plus lots of tlc to become tame, all come with the own large cage & extras, donation is required.

Gerbils, babys/young/adults available, male/female available, some nice colours, make really nice pets, tanks available, donation is required.

Spiny Mice, all male, we have 5 single mice that might go back together & we have ideas on how to go about this, we also have a pair that live together great, there silly friendly, they are very social & intelligent animals, they have small spikes on there backs, no usual mouse odours, to us there more of a hands off pet, tanks available, donation is required.

Sorry but Dr Doughnut had no rights to be putting this thread on as he didnt ask us if it was ok to do so first.

The only reason he started this thread again as he knew he was in the wrong & he was scared as we report him which we are also still going head with.

We have also report him to his computer service that he runs on his computer for sending a threaten email to our rescue email address & for also putting a yellow face on thread with comments that were suppose to be coming from us but were made up by him, this email as also been pass over to the police as this country we have a police section that deals with internet problems etc & its dosnt matter were in the counrty the email came from the person who sent can still get into trouble, we have ask the police to do something as we dont feel a 12 year old kid should be sending threaten emails & we want to know does is parnets know what he is up to on his computer but we already know what the answer is going to be there.

We have ask to cancel our membership of petshub & ask for all threads for Rodent Palace Rescue to be removed which we are hoping they will do soon.

No the Police did not laugh & have took it very seriously as they feel, like we do that a 12 year kid as that all he is, should be sending threaten email & doing some of the stuff he as done on here.

We didnt start this arguement, there was no need in anyway for Dr Doughnut to start giving advice on a thread that was not asking for advice, I mean why give a advice about sawdust on a thread that was for a very urgent appeal, plus theres no were on the thread were we talk about what sawdust we use, he started this on that thread with comments that we at the time didnt reaslie were coming from a kid.

We & the Police have taken a good look over other post that Dr Doughnut as put on Petshub before & are nothing to do with us & we can he as a thing for causing trouble on peoples threads, seem like he lives for trouble.

By the way everyone who is jumping on Dr Doughnuts bandwagon, we never at anytime ask this kid for advice, why would we, we didnt know him until all this

Yes everyone as rights & the freedom of speech but they lose those rights when the steal peoples identitys to make out those people have put things on certain threads & you also lose the rights when you start making threaten emails or rude emails.

It is Illegal to use some identity & it also Illegal to put a post on that we had written out, without our permission as at no time did we ask you Dr Doughnut to put this thread, why would we when we want it closed down.

You a kid of 12 years old & we feel you need some help as its looks like you have some problems, maybe when the police & the internet providers get in touch with your parents, maybe then some will be done about getting you some help, which you need.

You just sent us another email to our rescue email address & this as also been pass over to the police & your internet provider.

For the people who jump on Dr Doughnut bandwagon & dont think he is doing any wrong, this is just some of the comments made in the email & shows he is no more then a child.

These are just some of the printable things he as sent to us but like we have said it is being dealt with now.

Well, I dont understand why you think making a website would take allot of time...many people look things up on the net everyday and you would probuly have better luck. In fact, most businesses have a website...in fact...since you are a volunteer organization, you could probuly find a web designer to do it fairly cheap or next to nothing....many organizations help volunteers out as a tax write off....

Anyway they can find him, i done somethin stupid on a webpage by puttin phone numbers out and addresses the phone company had loads of complaints so they phoned my mom(the ppl didnt know it was me) and she got told about it! So they know he lives in Texas and so it would be easy!

I've read alot on this subject, and I was urged to come comment this because of what Dr.D has Put throughout the forum.

Might I point out that the face that you're forty means nothing? When iw as twelve, I knew to stay clear of cedar and pine bedding, and I especially knew not to use sawdust.

The reason that he commented that was because he felt a personal responsibility to help your rodents. Just because you're asking for donations doesn't mean you should skimp out on your rodents. Does the ASPCA feed their dogs cat food?

Your rodents might have been living in sawdust for however long they have lived, and who knows? Maybe you had a rat live five years on it. The point is that it can be a risk. Every smoker doesn't get lung cancer, yet some do. What would happen if one of your rodents ingested the sawdust because it got in their food, or were tunneling and it went up their nose? Cedar bedding can be harmful because of the chemicals, and it exposes the risk of poking out the eye of some unsuspecting creature.

Whilst I commend you for running the rescue, it doesn't mean you know it all. Pet shops could be open for twenty years, and still not know to put vitamins in their guinea pigs's water.

Did it hurt your egos that a twelve year old knew more about the bedding then the two of you? Sometimes we have to swallow our pride when it comes to the welfare of others.

This is all I have to say on the matter. Remember; age means nothing when it comes to knowledge.


PS: I'm in the top two percentile in the whole city, my IQ is 152, I got into the school I am in because I was in the top two percent with my writing scores, and if I did my homework rather then do research on animals and doing other tedious things, I would be top in my class.

I'm fifteen, and yet I have enough common sense to know that Dr.D wasn't trying to put you down, or 'challenge' you, he was simply giving you advice. Help comes from the heart, and he was simply trying to help out what he loves, animals.

If you were using sawdust and cedar as bedding, then quite frankly I'm glad they are shutting you down.

Yes your right we have taken this abit far but it was done to teach Dr Doughnut a lesson that he cannot go around doing what he does & get away with it.

We have found out that Dr Doughnut as done this before & we think he lives for this sort of thing.

Yes we have taken action, he made a mistake when he started sending threaten emails as these can be trace by the police & by the company he runs is computer from, the facts are Punkygirl I dont know how old you are but you dont seem to know how the law works, let me give you a lesson in this.

Dr Doughnut sent 2 threaten emails to our private email address these were trace by our internet company to Dr Doughnuts computer, they then get in touch with his internet company & then they get all is details, which then are pass over to the police, were not allowed to see is details but the Police know Dr Doughnuts home address, is parents name & home phone number, as its against the law to send threating emails & it dosnt matter how old you are as there as been lots of new laws brought out to stop this kind of thing.

We will not go to jail as we have done no wrong, we have sent no threating emails to him, we have not use false details on here, we know are rights as we check them over with the police & yes the police are looking into this & something will be done.
