If anyone is wondering what happened...

I guess its about time. Smudge died last week. A few weeks ago, I noticed a lump on her cheek pouch that was growing rapidly, nearling doubling in size every day. The vet thought it was an abcess and gave us meds to see if it worked, and it did, the lump disappeared and everything seemd to be okay. She seemed to sleep a lot, but I figured she was recovering, no weight loss, signs of illness once the lump was gone, nothing. And then monday morning I found her stretched out righti n front of the cage door, like she was trying to get out. As soon as I saw her, I knew she had died. Its just this feeling you get, and you know before you even touch them.

Smudge was... such a sweetie. She was so affectionate, and had a great little heart. It was just way too hard to even think about, let alone post before, but if anyone is curious now you know. She died at only 20 months old, I guess she was weaker than i first thought. I still see her personality, her affection and love when I look at her daughters though, and I know she'll never leave.

She seemed so sweet. I am sure that you gave her so much attention and love that she had such a happy life.

I am so sorry about Smudge. You gave her a wonderful life, and took her to the vets when she needed help. She loved you! I hope you are okay :sorry:

Sorry Chaos, good luck with her daughter though hun! Everything happens for a reason even though it's sad and you might not feel that way at the time.
