Training a Stubben hamster to Use a Potty

My Syrian hamster Tommy> She sleeps on the ball (Brand Is Hartz) in her cage. SHE REFUSES to use a potty. I tried this so many times with her. (I put her potty where she pees and craps at) she just goes to a different corner and does her Buniness there. IS there anyway to MAKE her use the potty?

You can't make an animal do anything, put the potty in the area where she is peeing and just be patient.

some animals simply do not want to use it and never will. they are not like cats, dogs, or rats for that matter who can be litter trained. heck, even some cats hate litter boxes. it's just individual preference and you may have one who will never use it.

Ok well here are some suggestions. First clean out the cage and put aside some really stinky pee soaked bedding.
Clean the cage really well make sure there are no sents left. put the stinky old bedding in the potty and often they'll go there.
if you just put the potty in the corner they'll think it's in their way and find a new spot.
btw they usually will only pee consistantly in a poty not crap.
