No, I'm not getting a horse anytime soon. We definitely wouldn't be able to do that lol. We're talking at least 10 years down the road, but I'm getting so interested in horses I'm just itching to learn about them. :)

So, what are some good websites or books to learn about at least just basic horse care? I know there's Horses for Dummies but is that any good?

Stuff like riding I'm not too into yet, I know you really can't learn much about that just from reading and that it's one of those things you need to actually *do* to learn. I'd like to take lessons someday but as for right now, no...

I'm totally clueless when it comes to horses so I'm positive anything will be helpful! :p

Okay, here are some ideas. Try searching www.google.com or www.bestoftheweb.com for horse sites. Also, since you dont want to take lessons yet you could go on a trail ride at a stable somewhere near you. The most common price for this I've found to be around 20 or 25 dollars a person for a 1 hour guided trail ride.
