thanks so much. :) i'm doing good and still missing stevie terribly. after talking with a few breeders who have witnessed the anopthalmic white gene before i realize how lucky i was to have her live as long as she did. she was a special ham and i'll never forget her. i'm sure she would have liked a new ham to have a home and wouldn't want me sad. any time i was ever upset or distressed she was always there with her goofy little "smiles", nose in the air, sniffing around to see why mom wasn't feeling well. we'll be laying her to rest tomorrow in the garden next to louis. :(

OMG! You're new addition is so adorable, looks like a tiny version of Stevie! I'm sure you see the differences better than anyone but there pictures look alike. I'm so happy you got another one! :) Good luck with the hammie funeral, I wish you the best hun!

thanks so much everyone! at the store he was sleeping and the minute i saw him i thought he was another anopthalmic white. my heart went to my throat. he does look a lot like her, especially when he's curled up and napping. he's about half her size and that's the only difference. he's certainly coming around now and loves climbing mount mom. :D

petluver: it's the hartz stuff. it's the only aspen we can get around here and even then i have to go load up in the city every now and then. oh, isolation.
