I REALLY need some help!

I was wondering if anyone has tips on tracing you horses background?:confused:
Storm is a purebred Standardbred and he has a brand on one of his legs. I was wondering of there is a way I could trace it. I don't have any papers or anything. I bought him in Texas.

How do you know he's pure standardbred if you don't have papers? That brand could be literally anything, it doesn't mean that he's a purebred. Try contacting this website-http://www.ustrotting.com. Good luck!

His brand is a cross over a bar. I have searched and searched and can't find nothing.

If he ever raced, he will have a number tatooed on his upper lip. As far as brands, that sounds like a ranch brand. Unfortunatly, if he's not lip tatooed its going to be next to impossible to find out. There might be a ranch registry somewhere online. If he's purebred, and was registered as purebred Standandbred, they should have a record of him somewhere. But if his breeders didn't ever register him as a foal, its going to be tough.
