What exactly is your question? How to get your male to mount the female? Leave them in there together.
I am really expecting the breeders here to ask alot of questions!! :)

Do you know anything about hamsters?
Do you know their genetic background?
Do you know these 2 are suitable to mate?
Do you know there is unwanted hamsters out there that want a home and we don't need uneducated people breeding because it's "cute"?
Do you know a syrian can have up to 20 babies?
Do you have enough money to care for each individual hamster?
Do you know a local vet willing to look at the babies if they get hurt?
Do you know that they will kill each other if together a long time in the same cage?
Do you know its dangerious for the mother to breed if she is over 6 months old because her hips fuse together making her die during labor?
Do you have 20 people lined up to take these babies?
Why are you breeding?
Why do you want the babies?
Are you just gonna give them over to a petstore if you can't find homes for them?
Do you know ANYTHING at all other then oh lets put them in the same cage and be a idiot?
If you answered no or couldn't answer ANY of these questions than you are officially a retard and should not be breeding.
Thank you...come again..:\

yes i am aware of every thing and money is not in issue not to brag but i am rich. I know you dont believ me but whatever. But both are syrians the female is sable colored and the male is white dominant w/cream back. He tries to mount her head and face its wierd but she allows him.He ends up just grooming hisself or sleeping. Im breeding because i have more then enough homes lined up and i have lots of cages that i boutgh yesterday w/ acceseries.
I know her estrous cycle is every 3-5 days common is 4 last anywhere 4 to 24 hours just to answer a few of your questions.

do you know their genetics? oh, and just a tip: rich people usually don't say "i'm rich", and most students aren't "rich" (i checked your profile). if you are indeed rich i suggest paying for some language and english classes to improve your grammar and punctuation. :)

Oh shnap!
Well, how many cages do you have?
Like what dwan said, do you know the genetic background, at all?
Where did you get these hamsters from?
How old are they?
Do you know how many babies Syrians can have... A LOT!
How many homes do you have lined up?

^ i agree.
plus, if you're so wealthy why not try donating some of those wads of cash to shelters who are blocked to the cielings with homeless hamsters rather than creating more and taking away potential homes? why not suggest to your friends that you'd rather not jeopardize the health of your female and any future pups being born from unknown lines and request they adopt from a shelter instead?
i'm with tia. you still have not answered the inquiries that anyone here has and nobody on here will promote careless, uneducated breeding of hamsters, or any animal for that matter.

not to mention that "white dominant w/ cream back" isnt a colour so i am going to assume its either a cream or yellow dominant spot. is your female cream carrying the anopthalmic gene? do you know how to tell?

"do you know their genetics? oh, and just a tip: rich people usually don't say "i'm rich", and most students aren't "rich" (i checked your profile). if you are indeed rich i suggest paying for some language and english classes to improve your grammar and punctuation."
Now THAT IS GOOD! You cant even spell properly.....puh rich! Or is it your just the rich spoilt boy who doesnt care, wont go to work and live off their parents.
But im not saying anymore. I suggest you do ALL your research....find out the genetics...and anwser ALL questions on here first before anything is done.
P.s. Some 1 told me that they researched for around a year and a bit before breeding. But i cant remember who......have YOU researched for a year or so?

Although he is technically sexually mature if he is still very young he won't know where to mount

bubblz is right if he is young also if he is much smaller than the female he will try mounting her but it will be off to the side almost b/c he wont b big enough to mount her like we imagine. thats how it is with my male because he is much smaller. however like all the others said make sure u take the hamsters into consideration you dont want to end up sick babies with defects like no eyes which could happen.

I'm going to be neutral in this argument, but I knew of a girl who lived in my neighborhood, and she bred her hamsters because she was obsessed with them, and believe me... she had dozens of cages in her room! She actually kept all of her hamsters because she liked them so much, and she bred dwarfs. Some people don't do it because they want money to sell the hamsters, or because they think it's cute.
Then again, you should only breed once you've researched for a very long time, have a little more than 20 cages (your female may give birth to more), and have *everything* prepared.
I might breed, but that'll be only after I've researched for a *very* long time. I remember when I wanted to breed crowntail bettas, I researched for over 4 years, and I still haven't bred them yet! (Gosh, breeding bettas is really hard to do...) I can never get the water just perfect...

PLease OH GOD PLEASE read my post on hamster genetics. and try some new places for your research in Campbell's dwarfs there isn't a coat color called that.
There are MANY things that can go HORRIBLY wrong if you breed the wrong hammies together.
PetLuver21257
07-02-06, 08:51 PM 07-02-06
Okay, listen, you can breed them, IF:
-You know the genetics of BOTH parents
-You know the REAL colors of BOTH parents
-You have at least 10 extra cages AND supplies
-You have a hamster savvy vet available
-YOU have enough money to spend on them, not your parents
-You find LOVING homes for ALL the baby hamsters, and if not, YOU keep the remaining babies, not dump them onto a pet store
I just want to tell you that if the female has 20 babies and you only find homes for 10 of them, then you are stuck with 10 cages and hamsters. And for the first month the total amount of money that you spend is about
$492!
So, make sure that YOU have enough money to care for 10+ hamsters. If you know all that, and YOU have enough money, then go ahead and breed them. :undecided

I would leave the breeding to the experts. Thats why they breed. To make good hamsters with backround info for people so people dont have to breed hamsters with genetic problems. They record every little thing about the hamster. If you know the parents and everything else petluver said then you also have to be prepared to know everything about your baby hamsters when they are given homes.
Breeding is not fun if you don't have the time and effort.
Why breed hamsters if your friends are going to take them. Why dont you friends go adopt one of the millions of hamsters that need a loving home.
How can you get a job if you are 14. I'm 15 and I cant get a job! If you volunteer how do you get paid?

I love my dogs and take very good care of them and I had someone call me a byb there. I don't breed at all and have no intention of breeding my dogs.
I just saw a lot of nasty things from people there.
