my poor pinky is freakin out over the fireworks!

awe, my baby is scared in a corner over these fireworks. this year, Indiana just legallized fireworks, so it sounds like a war zone in my neighborhood right now. pinky usually is very hyper and active, and she is just sitting in a corner freakin. i just get her out of the cage, and hold her..and she doesnt move, she just smells me and looks at me. any advice for the loud noise?

I find that a good method for calming them down during fire works is to take them into your t.v room, and watch a calming show. (Cartoons calm my pets down). You could also take her into the room in your house that is furthest away from fireworks.).

Luckily, there are not alot of people in my neighborhood that do fireworks..since almost everyone is old, or they work.

music on, windows shut and treats in hand... try and pick her up and hold her agaisnt you... calms mine... she'll feel safer... make sure she has a box or tube of something to hide in if she wants to x

thats good, also music slow annd relaxing, and on a low level! Also curtins shut will help with sigh and prob noise
