My hamster had babies a while ago as most of you know..and now they are old enough to be given away and stuff but no one seems to want a hamster right now. I cant keep them much longer because pretty soon they will start fighting with each other and i cant afford to buy 5 more cages to seperate them all.. The only option i can see is selling them back to the pet store that sold me the pregnant hamster...

i really dont wanna do it because i dont know what happens if they dont sell there, and i relly want my babies to find good homes. So i was wondering if there was any other place they can go or anything like that where i know they will be taken care of. I would love to keep them all, but financially i just cant do that right now :o(

does anyone have any suggestions? or can anyone tell me what happens if the hamsters dont sell at the pet store?

well did you put a hamsters for adoption post at the adoption forum here? That may be a place to start.

You could try put up posters and ad's in local papers etc. Also say adoption in the hamster forums too oh and family chat.

There are outher hamster forums on the internet as well maybe try to post this at other places.
Just don't give a way free hamster to people you don't know AND trust. You don't want your babies to end up abused or as snake food

Why didn't you plan who to give them to just after there born, that way you have a good 6/7 weeks.

Shaunna is new at this, I think her hammie was preggo when she got her if I recall. Just post lots of ads everywhere and find more hamster forums to post in about.

ya, when i bought my hamster she was pregnant. I found out a week later when she had babies. I have been tryin since she was born to find homes, one of my uncles is going to take one and i am keeping 2 so that still leaves 2 that need homes.. but no one else seems to be interested.

I live in canada, does anyone know of any adoption forums in Canada? or is there any way to find a forum in your area?

your best bet would be the bargain finder or buy sell in your area..if u know what those are..they are all across canada i know that.
