Poor Grandma Moo LOL she isnt more than 8 months old herself LOL she is due to be mated in the next week or two as she reabsorbed her litter this time around (was mated day after Mog) she is being mated again to Costello as she produced amazing babies last time (plus our other males possible carry anopthalmic gene and as Moo is a dominant spot, we dont want that!)

Wow, they are really pretty. I never knew that there could be so many different results from just two different parents. They are so cute.

It's an interesting one!

We knew that Mog, being a black tort carried Black and Yellow genes as she was bred from another black tort and a yellow black which are a combination of these two colours.

We knew that Casanova, the yellow dom spot, has yellow on both sides for the last 3 generations with one exception of a cinnamon dom spot in the 3rd generation back.

From breeding these two, we have learnt that Mog also carries cinnamon (Very Recessively) and Casanova carries Black. Both of these colours are recessive and for them to show up in the litter (the dove tort in particular) both parents needed to carry both black, cinnamon, yellow and 'tortoiseshell' genes. (although tort being sex linked is only carried by Mog)

Have asked for advise to know what i do :p

Plus have found that the "cream" is in fact definately a Yellow which i expected, the Dove Tort is definately a Dove Tort and the last one is definately a Honey!

Forgot to say, these babies were only 10 days old when i took the photos, they opened their eyes at 8-9 days 0_o

I will have to post photos of Moo's other daughter, Domino, you would adore her then! she is very similar, she is the same colour as Moo but she is long haired LOL but she just looks like a fluffy spotty bear. She should have babies in a week or two so in a months time i will make a similar post but for Domino and then another for Moo!
