i can not believe how stupid i sound, but i cant tell if my hammie is a guy or a gal..its a black and white Syrian Hamster I believe. HELP ME!!

:D mine too, tia! i remember when i had gone to get them and the pet store was terrible at sexing. the minute i saw merle i immediately said, "ummm...yeah, i'll take him since there's no chance he's a girl". it was quite obvious. the other two aren't as "gifted" but there's no doubting they're boys, that's for sure. cash, my syrian boy, is a bit more obvious as they're...well...naked and more testicle-like, if that makes sense. though the dwarves' goolies are furred they're still unmistakenable.

actually some male syrian hammies testes are inside of him cause thats what happened to me i thought it was a girl and took it to the vet and he said it was a boy but he was one of the rare ones with his testes inside of his body so make sure lol
the boy has a hole that kinda sticks out above the anus while the girl has a slit.... thats how my male hairless hamster is too.. it's a boy but you can't tell :\

Really all my male syrian were really endowed...I mean when it was warm it was like they were dragging the things around.
All my dwarfs were much more difficult. Had to use the distance of the "vents" method. Even now the adult male dwarfs I have I can find a sent gland much quicker than their testicles....LOL

Yeah, the girl at the petstore mistook my Spot for a girl, and lol, I came back with Spot the next day to "ask" if he was a girl or a boy.
I told the lady that he was a boy, and she was like,"you know, it's pretty difficult to sex them."
She thought I was stupid or something because her additude was like "I bet he's not a boy," but when she sexed him, she said,"Yeeep... he's a boy."
