there are many tricks out there to make a hamster come out from beneath heavy objects, one time my hamster went under my dresser, i couldn't move it, so I got a magazine but some food on it, like his favorite foods, and he crawled rite on it and i pulled him out. I don't know how big your wardrobe is, but another way I've heard a lot about is get a bucket, put a towel in the bottom, put some peanut butter in the bottom with the towel(hamsters love the smell of peanut butter) and stack books up leading to the bucket like stairs. Your hamster might not come out immediatly, but It most likely will come out.
good luck!!!

perhaps you could use the bucket method, but use a paper towel tube to lead up to the bucket- tape it securely- stick the tube under the dresser and block all areas of escape with towels or books or something- make that his only way out- straight into the bucket.

You can get your hamster favorite food...and let it smell it and you lure it to come out..or get a broom and kinda sweep it gently!

i did that when my hamster went under a stove..

the problem is that he has gone to worst place he can. I can't even reach the hole he is go in to and i can't reach him when he goes out because he is incredible fast and goes all the way in again :(

I'm glad you caught him- try to figure out how he got out and maybe put some locks on his cage, if need be. I use big paper gems to secure the doors on CS's cage!

I'm so glad you've caught him I had another dwarf 'Sandy' who escaped from it's cage 4 months ago and met it's end when our playful puppy decided it was a cuddly toy and gave it a bite. Poor thing... Died instantly there was nothing we could do I found out it was too late. Puppy was so sad she knew she'd had done wrong. Everyone was annoyed with her and I couldn't stop crying.
After days of cuddling up to me I forgave her.
Won't forget Sandy though. :angel5: I was hoping I'd find her I'm glad you found your hammy.:angel2:

It's sad :(

In fact my hammy didn't escape from his cage. My brother left him on floor of our saloon and he ran like f1 car :)

Suprisingly her sister in the same cage didn't escape. She was ok.
I was frantic she'd been hiding under the cooker my boyf's mom saw it happen. It's the circle of life really, I'm just glad your hammy was found happy and safe after it's little adventure.

Glad you got your hamster back!! :)

My hamster dissapeared one time and it climbed out...There was a hole on top of his cage and i didnt think he'd climb out of it..so i did try to cover it or anything....but it crawed out and went under the stove....and then 2nd time it went between the stove and the counter....then it went behind my computer...so i think i have experiance w/my lil hammy..lol!!

But Im glad you got your hamster
