Wait, no, my son let him out :bawling:

I was in my son's room, taking the fan out of his window when suddenly this critter ran across my foot! Good lord, I've never freaked out! I thought it was a rat or a ... wait no I thought it was a rat.

Well, it wasn't until I ran out looking for it that it dawned on me what it was. My hamster was loose. So I ran into the bathroom (I don't know why) and there he was behind the toilet.

Be glad you got him! Mine ran into the wall after chewing the corner of the carpet to get under the woodwork, and I never saw him again. This was about three weeks ago. : o (

I'm glad you found him. :) One of my hamsters got loose a couple of days ago. I had put her in her roll-about ball so I could clean out her cage, and when I came back into the kitchen her roll-about ball was open and empty. Of course I freaked out, I though, Oh my gosh, I've got 5 cats in the house right now, for sure she's eaten! But no! I heard this scratching underneath the stove, and I pulled out the tray, and yes! She was under the stove. :lol: Too funny! Anyway, she passed away a couple of days ago, and I miss her. :bawling:

corkey got out last weekend, no wait the weekend before the one that jsut happend. and he ran across my foot and i yelled."corkey!" then he stopped, looked at me and ran behind the couch, i said corkey, once i saw him again and he just let me pick him up.

Big D's name is Big Dog. He's a big guy. Largest hamster I've ever seen.

He's my second baby (my son is my first) and we got him from our disabled friend. She couldn't take care of him very well.
We were originally given his daughter but she passed away and his wife escaped and was never seen again. So now he's the big man on campus all alone.
He's use to my voice now, he use to jump when he heard me. He stole my son's blanket and made a nest with it. It's so cute.

Hi! Welcome! I'm Virginia, better known as Ginia or Leftpaw. My hamster is Cream Soda- a black-eyed cream satin syrian. She's quite an escape artist as well- I have all kinds of locks and even duct tape on her cage because she can push any door open. Last time she got out she got under hte stove, but usually she goes right for the cat/dog food bin, sniffing around looking for spillage, or to the cat's food bowl. The cat's usually let us know where she is by complaining htat she's trying to get into their food again. Once she made it all the way to the other end of the house in my M&D's bathroom, but usually, it's straight to the kitchen, which is across the hall from my room. Lately, I;ve been training her for hte hamster races, and she spends a lot of time in her car, which annoys my new kitten, Mouse. Mouse pulls the car around by the back bumper, trying to make the hamster go where she wants her too, I guess. Cream Soda is completely fearless, and almost as big as the kitten, so she thinks it's just s big game.

I'm gonna try to get some pics of them- I just don't quite trust them together enough to not give them my full attention so far.

Booger still hates Mouse. :( Funny, though, one minute she's hissing at Mouse and then I put Mouse up in my room and get Cream Soda and Booger's all licking and rubbing on CS just like always. Funny- Booger hated the fish when we first got them- hissed at them- she still hisses at Hermie sometimes, though other times they bathe each other or even sleep together- but Booger has NEVER hissed at Cream Soda and has always treated her like her baby- washing her and letting her climb all over her- purring and butting her gently with her head- I wonder why that is? I know Booger came first and she must maintain her heirarchy, but why is she not upset by the hamster when she is by everything else? I mean- hissing at fish! How wierd is that?

bayer got out the night before we left for CO and was battin at the blinds on my dad's french doors in his room. he went under the door! he woke my dad up at like 1:30am my dad was mad!
