approx how big is a hamster??

hi,
i was wondering how big a hamster is...i have a habitrail safari cage and i was wondering if it is too small for 2. It is specially designed for hamsters. Also not many petshops where i live se;; hamsters.

well it is bog enough for 2 dwarves, but not for 2 syrians, who cant be kept together anyways. i have a syrian in a safari cage

yeah, i had 2 dwarfs in my habitrail cage, but then they started fighting, so I got another habitrail, they seemed to like having cage all to themselves.

right now i keep mice in my habitrail safari. I have never seen a petshop where i live (in australia) that sells hamsters, only guinea pigs!

Ask the petshop owners or workers if they can get one in for you. I'm sure they could- or might could tell you a breeder in your area. For that matter, they must know who comes in and buys hamster mix and supplies, etc.- maybe they will let you post a sign requesting to buy one from an individual.
