Oh the joy of my local county fair. The horse show at my particular fair has been in action for over a hundred years and it is a great thing to behold. The rides and other county fair attractions are not really mentionable and the folks who do those stupid tractor pull things all need to be shot(no offense), but the horse show is one of the best around. I sadly will not be showing, but my dad and my two sisters will be. The one I was going to show (a lovely yearling filly) put on a growth spurt and is a little ribby, a little leggy and her neck and motion aren't where they should be to compete with the others that will surely be in the ring.
Hopefully next year I'll have something to show. I really want a harness horse. I have a couple of neys that would do well, but I don't have a cart or harness for them. I just bought a super nice set of fine harness for a horse, I have a buggy, so all that is left is a horse. I've been trying to get my dad to make one of one of our horses. My yearling filly I mentioned earlier would be a nice candidate once I get her head up(its coming along nicely) as would several of our young horses.
Within the next month or so, I will have a decent computer that I can get some pictures of my lovelies up to be oggled at by any who care to see it. With this P.O.S. computer, I can't even create that blasted flyer I wanted. I have many pictures that I wish to share. I almost have every horse/creature that I have on my camera and can't wait to get some out to be seen.
