I know that these happned a while ago but i still am sad. At the age of 4, we put down my first cat for a reason I do not want to say. Since I was young, my parents told me that he was sent to a farm. after a few years of me and my sister begging to go visit him, my mother told us the truth. I cried for a round a week untill we got a new cat, who helped me forget about him and focus on the new cat. I am not saying that the new cta, Smantha, replaced him, but that I was able to concentrate on a new kitten now. In october of 02, my mouse died. My sister had got him for a science fair project along with 2 of her friends, his name was Mozart, long story. So he lived for a good 14 months before dieing of a fatal disease. He is now buried in my front yard in a dove soap box. I MISS HIM A LOT. In december, my mom gave my sister and I the shock of our lives. We were doing our christmas shopping when we drove by a petsmart and my dad said we needed dog food. SO we went in and were quickly looking at the adoption center, when all of the sudden we saw the cutest kitten, named Elvis. We then started begging our mom for him and she pullled the deed for a cat out of her purse. It turns out she had planned it and we got to take home Elvis, who is now 8 months old and still has the kitten instincts. We love him very much but still miss Mozart and our cat.

I'm sorry foro your loss, just because your loss was a few years ago doesn't mean you can't still mourn for them. I'm glad you're enjoying your new pets. 14 monthes is a decent run for a mouse, most will only live two years at the most.
