new bird

i have 3 keets, the mom, dad, and there baby.i want to get a new parakeet.but, the dad is really protective of the new baby and i think if i get a new bird he might hurt it. if anyone has any advice could you help me.

Well, having three Budgies means one is "usually" left out, so if the mom (??? not sure if any are left out or not???) is left out try introducing the new Budgie to her. And have to cages on for dad and baby one for mom and new bird. If none are left out keep the Budgie in a cage alone in another room. Bring them closer together every week. Soon the cages will be near eachother so they can see eachother and start introducing them VERY gradually. Such as taking them out and supervising REALLY closely. Hope this helped if not sorry!

thanks for the info, i just bought them a new cage and we havent sold there old one. both the cages are ginormus so it wont be a problem. thanks again
