My husband is a woodworker and I was wondering if there is any reason why we could not use the shavings that result from his work. He does NOT work with chemically treated wood. All of the wood he uses (pine, oak and poplar) is kiln dried. We would also sift all of the sawdust out of the shavings.
Thank you

If it is not too sharp (squeeze a handful, see if it pokes you), too strongly scented (which means oils which means allergic reactions) or too hard (you don't want a hamster with an prolapsed cheek pouch, ugh!)
