My syrian hamster

Hi every one this is my first post I was wandering if any one can give me advice on what toys to get my syrian hamster when i get it

toys. well, the good thing about having rodents is u dont really have to BUY them toys if you dont want to. they might enjoy afew extra ones but they dont NEED em. here are some ideas of Home made toys my syrian hammy likes...
*of coarse the popular toilet paper tube. Hamsters love chewing on these.
*Nonsented tissues. put some tissues in there, he will chew on them and use them as bedding. (this shouldnt be his only bedding.)
*Tissue boxes. If you remove the plastic and make sure there arent any sharp edges, hamsters would like crawling in and out of them. you can also put holes in it for them to crawl out of.(it can also be used as their nesting box.
*ladders- you can probably find materials to make ladders for them to climb up. just make sure its OK for them to chew on.
*saltine boxes, cerial boxes, any type of cardboard box is fun for them to play in. they like burrowing under things. you could get a box put holes in it and put tissues inside. it'll have fun.:)

That's all I can think of right now, but if you go to google and type in 'homemade hamster toys' im sure you'll find results.:)
