I got my hamster Stevie chinchilla bath sand for sand bath today and he ate and hoarded a lot into his pouches and they are full to bursting (I felt them to make sure it was sand). I don't know if I should leave him alone or take him to the vet or someting. Give me some advice!

It probably won't effect him, the cheek pouches are dry and he will take the sand out. If in a few days his cheek pouches seem inflammed take him to the vet for a check up, he could have a grain of sand stuck in there but generally they have no issues getting it out.

When I first gave my hamster her sand bath she also started pouching it, I was really worried and took it away from her; but after a while I decided to give it back to her, because she enjoyed it. Again, she pouched the sand, but then she let it all out in her bed area lol! Maybe she was trying to take the sand bath to her bed? I don't know.
I'm sure your hamster will be fine unless he still has it in there for days, or he seems to be in pain.

My hamster either swallowed it all in his cheek pouches or dumped the sand somewhere cuz when I took the sand bath out. In about 10-30 mins, his cheek pouches were normal sized.
