I haven't posted pictures of Lizzy for a long time so I thought I would post some new ones. I took these yesterday morning at the barn. Ignore Lizzy's hair cut, she got pine sap on her forelock & I had to cut it out.. lol

Her training is comming along very nicely. She is now 19 months old. She will load, bathe, clip, tie, & stand for a farrier without a problem. She lunges, and I've started lunging her with saddle on. Ive sat on her a couple times. I swear this girl came out of her mamma fearless.. ! She doesn't spook and doesn't care what you do to her. She takes on everything calm as can be. I measured her the other day, and she's just 14 hands.
We've had Cowboy for about a month now, and he is doing very well. He's also pretty laid back, but he has his moments. He rides so nicly, but doesn't like riding by himself. He's 16 hands. He also loads, bathes, & ties without a problem. He's also good for a farrier. He's a little more spooky about little things than Lizzy is, but he just hasn't been worked with as much.
I couldn't get a good picture of him, he wasn't liking the camera.

Since Cowboy didn't like riding by himself, and Lizzy won't be able to fully ride for another year or more, we decided to get one more horse.. :p She's a 4 year old Quater Horse mare. I haven't named her yet. Any ideas? She looks just like Cowboy. She rides like a DREAM! She's awsome. I'm thinking about training for reining, she would be awsome at it. She does 360' turns and spins sooo quick. The guy also said she will do sliding stops, but needs work on the turn around, but I haven't tried yet. I'll have pictures of her tomarrow.
