My hamster, Stevie is 2 months old (he was born July 4 because I got him when he was 5 weeks old, still living with his brother). He is a robo-dwarf. Is he too old for me to get him a friend or is it fine?

No, he's not too old to get him a friend, but you need an extra cage just in case it doesn't work out. You should of gotten him and his brother at the same time...
But since he's a loner now, if he seems fine alone, then I would just leave him that way.

Stevie is a robo, correct? Robos almost always need a partner to thrive. I've heard robos considered the most social of all hamsters though I've never kept them myself. Personally, I would get him a friend.

Robo's can and will do fine alone. They like socializing but if their owner gives them enough love and care, they dont mind being alone at all. Infact some prefer it.

Yeh im sure hes fine alone
Mine were together and now seperated due to fighting(was a scarey night)
they seem fine alone and happyier than ever so im keeping them this way.
Yoy hear so many stories of robo's having to be seperated its just luck or no luck really, some seem to find they perfer to be alone and dont enjoy each others company.
Stevie will be fine alone.:D
