In canada are pig's illegal? What is getting them registered? How do i get my pig spayed if the vet is 5 hour's away? Can i get a young spayed pig? How much do they cost? What is zoned?

i dont know if they are illegal in canada, you would have to check with your local borough or township or city laws to find out if they are legal where you live.

u dont have to have them registered, but u can...its like registering a dog.

u would have to haul the pig to the vet and have it spayed, sometimes you can buy them already spayed, but not always. i am not sure what age they have to be before you can get them spayed, you would have to ask the vet.

a good pig from a good breeder would cost probably around $100 or so (at least thats what it is around here), at the pet stores they would cost alot more. (but its rare any petstores where i am have them) you can get one from rescues for usually around $50 - $100 i think.

zoned has to do with laws in the town or city you live in. like i said before, you would have to check with them to see if pbp's are legal where u live.
